Configure Netscape Mail v7.0
Open
Netscape Mail & Newsgroups.
Select
Email account.
Click the
Next
button.
In the
Your Name
field, type in your name.
In the
Email Address
field, type your full Embarq mail address.
Click the
Next
button.
Select
POP.
In the
Incoming mail
(POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field,
type
pop.embarqmail.com(POP).
In the
Outgoing server
field,
type
smtp.embarqmail.com
Click the
Next
button.
In the
User Name
field, type your full Embarq email address.
Click the
Next
button.
Click
Finish
on the Congratulations! screen.
From the
Edit
menu, choose
Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
Select
Outgoing Server (SMTP)
in the
Accounts list.
You can also click
Advanced
to configure the
Server Name.
Check the box next to
Use name and password.
In the
User Name
field, type your full embarqmail email address.
Click the
OK
button.
